Sammy shares his secrets
Sammy, the dog tells Mickey where to look for Morel mushrooms. Sammy knows everything that happens around here. Morgan, the bernese puppy is pooped! She didn't know we live at the bottom of the mountain.

Wonderful golden morels. We got 56 in one morning; left some for next year. Sammy really knows his stuff! |

...fit for Bond, James Bond. Marans and penedesenca eggs cooked with morels. It don't get much better than that.

These are not weeds
Horehound and other herbs grow large in the rich soil of the woods. I gather it and use them. People used to call herbalists 'white witches'; they were the ones who you went to when you needed a cure. I'm not sure what you could call me, but I have an herb for most things that ail you. |

Look what else we found
No its not a wild turkey, just one of my hens sitting eggs in the bushes. People call them dumb, but if left to so what they do well they are actually very well adapted. She hatched out 10 of 11 of her eggs and raised them all.

oh, my that wasn't supposed to get in there. Well, you know how the gargoyle warned you about the dogs? I'd just be careful when you come here and definitely watch my step. That crazy 'white witch' has familiars big enough to carry off cars and they do her bidding. |
